Another successful season in 2001 ended with one of the Zielinski boyz failing to close out the championship. Zip Zielinski had a one game lead going into the final week, however, Luck Laru posted a spectacular 13 win week to pick up 2 games on the Zipper and win the championship.

Defending Champion Bubba Barbarini put up a solid fight only to end up 2 games shy of the Legend.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to recover any of the 2001 recaps.
