Who is the The TankFest Group?

The TankFest Group is a non-profit organization developed to organize and host four Annual Major Championship Events which serve as a time for the boyz to get together, have a good time, talk some trash, throw some cabbage around, drink brewskis and most important of all, grab the bragging rights for each event for a full year.

Since the inception of the TankFest group in 2000, we have yet to experience a sweep of the Grand Slam events. In 2005, Esta Carrier became the first TF member to have at least one title in all four events.

Generally the Grand Slam events are held as follows:

March Madness	March-April
TankFest Tournament of Champions	June
Poker Playoff	September
The NFL Challenge	Fall/Winter

The TankFest Group holds four major tournaments each year.  Each tournament offers a slightly different reward.

Major 1:  March Madness kicks off the year and lets the boyz have an open competition to show their NCAA expertise and talk a little cyber-wave trash without putting too much hurtin' on the wallet.

Major 2:  TankFest - Tournament of Champions, players play 18 holes for pride, bragging rights and the honor of holding the TF Plaque and TF Cup for an entire year.  The TF-ToC is clearly the most prestigious of the 4 majors.

Major 3:  The Poker Playoff, its all about the cabbage baby.  Proving your poker and bluffing skills is nice, but with this group its all about the greenery.

Major 4:  The NFL Challenge, competitors are out to prove "who is the best handicapper in the group."  Members battle it out through a grueling 17 week season with the top 4 players moving onto the playoffs to crown the champion.

Organized in 2000, The TankFest Group became an official organization with the signing of the By-Laws on August 16th, 2002.  Currently, the organization has 8 Active Members, with 6 of these being the Founding Fathers.  On September 17th, 2004, The TankFest Group made the Amended By-Laws effective with an official signing at TFV.
