2004 Tournament Recap

The ending tournament scores were tighter than the actual tournament itself.  BD Copson and LL Ligenza played flawlessly until an almost catastrophic blow-up on 16 and 17.  It took a beautiful putt from LL on 18 for the birdie to seal the deal and take the tournament.  Final scores were BD/LL and +2, while MM/Rock, BZ/Esta, and Bubba/Zip finished 2 strokes back at +4.  BD captured closest to the pin on Hole #4 and Zip took longest drive on Hole #11, beating BD by a few feet.

Voting for the 2004 Tournament

Question 1:  6-2 in favor of hosting Poker Playoff II on TF Eve
Question 2:  7-0 (1 abstain) in favor of keeping the tournament at $100
Question 3:  6-1 (1 abstain) in favor of maintaining the Elite 8
Question 4:  7-1 in favor of drawing teams once and playing them as they fall
Question 5:  6-2 in favor of no limit for consecutive years by a champion
