Dear Players,

Another year and another tourney!  Who would of thought a bunch of nobodies from Schwag could have developed the most prestigious tournament on tour.  Once again, my congratulations on being selected to an elite class of 8 players for the 3^rd annual TankFest Invitational Tournament of Champions.

Tourney II provided some thrilling moments just as TF I had.  In round 1, it took a long put from Esta “Long Putter” (also known as Magnum-Man) in overtime to send the defending champions Larry and Twig to the consolation round.  Also in round 1, after jumping out to an early 2 hole lead, BZer and Zippy had to fight off a scrappy Les/Roxie team in a match which came down to the last hole.  In the championship round, Esta and Montross complemented each other well, jumped out to an early 2 hole lead and never looked back to take the tournament cup home.

The tourney format remains the same: A 9 hole, match play, 2-man scramble with single elimination.  The teams will be drawn at the opening ceremonies with the Esta/Montross team staying together to defend their title.  We’ll go with a 4 man group A and a 2 man group B using the following format.

Please review the TF by-laws, as I hope to have the body vote in favor prior to the tournament start.  Can’t wait for another great tourney!!  Let’s keep it going!

                                                                                                                      See you at the tourney,
